Rooted in Dublin's rich history
The Tenters area holds a storied place in Dublin's heritage, taking its name from the centuries-old textile industry where cloth was stretched on tenterhooks to dry. Today, our volunteer group works passionately to keep these memories alive for residents, visitors, and future generations.
Preserving our shared memories
From the textile mills of the Liberties to the distinctive brick garden homes built in the early 20th century, our archive preserves generations of local culture, community spirit, and working-class heritage.
